ABOUT ME:
I understand that you have many choices when you are looking for a home inspector. That is why I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and explain how my background in the construction industry gives me an advantage that few others have.
My name is James Godbold. I began my construction career in 1982 as an iron-worker working on commercial and residential projects. By the late 1980's I became a foreman and learned to read and design blueprints (both commercial and residential). In the 1990's I became a job superintendent, supervising as many as 5 construction projects at one time.
My experience and knowledge allows me to use my skills wisely and gives me the special ability to quickly and easily identify problems, allowing you to make an educated and informed decision before buying or selling a home.
If you are searching for the home inspector that will give you the best representation, then you have found him. I will make every effort to discover and report any defects or areas of concern to you. I will then record all of my findings for you, help you to understand the implications of the findings, and direct you as necessary to a corrective resolution. My report is computer generated with digital pictures and red arrows pointing to any problems making it clear and easy to understand. After you review your report, you will feel confident that I was thorough and kept your best interest in mind.
